SOL-X is excited to be shortlisted as one of the top eight startups for the final pitch at the The Captain’s Table Innovation Challenge, organized by Young Professionals in Shipping Network (Hong Kong) Limited.

Splash247, the media partner of The Captain’s Table Innovation Challenge announced last week that SOL-X has been selected in its first round of top 14 candidates with pitches sent in from around the world. It was a highly competitive and intense selection process.

SOL-X is pleased to make it under the “Crew Wellness” category by The Challenge, Hong Kong’s leading pitch competition focused on the maritime and logistics industry. The Challenge, now in its 3rd year, is organized by not-for profit, Young Professionals in Shipping Network (Hong Kong) Limited.

The objective of the challenge is to build a sustainable future for maritime by connecting innovators to the corporates with the purpose of finding solutions to current and future industry specific problems.

This year’s Challenge involves partners seeking solutions to solve industry problems like “mental health and wellness of crew”, to assist them in proactively monitoring mental health and wellness of crew onboard ships so that early intervention is possible. Solutions should ideally be practical to use, implement, connect to a mobile interface, with reliable connectivity between ship and shore.

The Challenge will take place “live” in Hong Kong in early December 2021 and streamed online. Come and join us to find out more about SOL-X and our solution on 2 December 2021 on SPLASH live website.
