(I) Product Data Privacy Terms
1. Information we may collect about you
1.8 Usage Data ►includes information about how you use our product.
1.9 We may also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose.
2. How We Use Your Personal Data
2.1 SAFEVUE.ai is an integrated safety and risk management software (“Software”) which consists of various functions and features and we will collect, process and store all or some of the user personal data for the following purposes:
(b) To aid monitoring of user location – Dashboard that provide vessel wide visibility for aid monitoring purposes during critical operations and emergencies;
(c) To allow user to raise help alerts – Allows crew to raise help alerts during work operations;
2.2 We continually strive to improve our Services based on the information and feedback we receive from Users. We may ask Users for feedback from time to time, that we use to help us to improve our service; and SOL-X will (i) use, analyse and process collected data about user, (ii) aggregate user data with other user data, for the purpose of improving SAFEVUE.ai, creating new features, conducting research and developing new products and services, including reports based on analytics associated with SAFEVUE.ai, provided always that your data has been anonymized and de-identified such that the data or aggregated data will not enable other users to identify each unique user.
2.3 In the event that we: (i) are subject to negotiations for the sale of our business or part thereof to a third party; (ii) are sold to a third party; or (iii) undergo a re-organisation, we may need to transfer some or all of your personal data to the relevant third party (or its advisors) as part of any due diligence process for the purpose of analysing any proposed sale or re-organisation. We may also need to transfer your personal data to that re-organised entity or third party after the sale or reorganisation for them to use for the same purposes as set out in this policy.
2.4 SAFEVUE.ai does not take any decisions involving the use of algorithms or profiling that affects you.
2.5 In respect of the data collected in the scenarios referred to in section 1(above), such data may not have been anonymized and/or de-identified as such data is required to be disclosed to the senior management of the vessel for the limited purposes of ensuring the crew’s wellbeing and managing the vessel to ensure efficient deployment of manpower resources.
3. Transmission, Storage and Security of Your Personal Data
3.1 No data transmission over the Internet or Satelite Link can be guaranteed to be secure from intrusion. However, we maintain commercially reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal data in accordance with data protection legislative requirements.
3.4 Personal data will be stored on a server hosted overseas through Microsoft Azure, a Privacy Shield certified global cloud service provider.
4.1 We may disclose personal data for the purposes we explain in this notice to service providers, contractors, agents, advisors (e.g. legal, financial, business or other advisors) that perform activities on our behalf and to other third parties in connection with our legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Retention of Personal Information
5.2 With respect to the personal data referred to section 1 (above), our current policy for data retention is 30 days, which retention period, may at our discretion, be changed or amended, at any time, on the giving of 7 days prior notice.
5.3 Subject to section 5.1 above, your personal data will be deleted from our systems in the event of:
(a) your termination or cessation of employment or engagement with the vessel or its owners, as the case may be; or
(b) your withdrawal of consent for us to collect, retain, process and/or use your personal data.
6. Your Rights and Contacting us
6.1 Updating information
We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that your personal data is accurate. In order to assist us with this, you may notify us of any changes to the personal data that you have provided to us by contacting us as set out in the “Contacting Us” section below.
Except in the circumstances where the data has been already destroyed or deleted (such as in sections 5.2 or 5.3 above), we will provide users with access (including a copy) for any purpose including to request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data.

6.5 Our Commitment to User Privacy
To ensure integrity and security of user personal information, our privacy and security guidelines are communicated to all employees and strictly enforced within the company.
7. European Appendix
If you are based in the European Economic Area (EEA), the European data protection law (EU DP Law) requires us to provide you with additional information about our processing activities. including information about rights that you have in relation to your personal information that we handle.

These are the principal legal grounds that justify our use of your information:

7.2.2 Where we transfer personal data from inside the European Economic Area (the EEA) to outside the EEA, we may be required to take specific additional measures to safeguard the relevant personal data. Certain countries outside the EEA have been approved by the European Commission as providing essentially equivalent protections to EEA data protection laws and therefore no additional safeguards are required to export personal data to these jurisdictions. In countries which have not had these approvals (see the full list here http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/international-transfers/adequacy/index_en.htm), we will establish legal grounds justifying such transfer, such as EU Commission-approved model contractual clauses, or other legal grounds permitted by applicable legal requirements.

(d) delete any personal data the we no longer have a lawful ground to use;
(e) where processing is based on consent, to withdraw your consent so that we stop that particular processing;

(g) object to any processing based on the legitimate interests ground unless our reasons for undertaking that processing outweigh any prejudice to your data protection rights; and
(h) restrict how we use your information whilst a complaint is being investigated.
7.3.3 If you are not satisfied with our use of your personal information or our response to any exercise of these rights you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or the data protection regulator in your country.
